Duffy's Restaurant -
Lake George, NY 11:00AM-12:45 PM |

deck at Duffy's, during Americade week. The staff at Duffy's were
very friendly. |
| May 15, 2004 |
City Center -
Saratoga, NY 4:30 PM |
Our first show
related to our involvement with the American Cancer Society, and
Spitizie's Motorcycles. Sporadic rain did not stop the party, we
simply set our stuff up inside. |
| May 9, 2004 |
Captain
JP - Troy, NY |
We've long wanted to
make music aboard a ship cruising the Hudson. We provided mellow
background sounds (a few 'rockers' thrown in), that left the 500
Mother's and family members, able to enjoy their conversations with
family and friends. The JP is a nice experience whether cruising
or performing, and we look forward to future engagements. |
| May 1, 2004 |
Michael's Lounge -
West Sand Lake - 9:00 PM |
With our
good friends, the excellent progressive band Acoustic
Trauma and Dubology/Strange Paradise, a project fronted by our friend,
the incendiary guitarist Acemann of the OrganicRock web
site. This is being billed as
the 'Sonic Extreme's' show. It lived up to it's billing; in a
good way! |
| May 1, 2004 |
River Street Beat
Shop |
At Jim Barrett's (The Lawn Sausages) "Beat
Street" record shop on River Street in Troy. Our musical interests were piqued in the record shops
of Troy (remember The Disc) and by WRPI, where, Jim Barrett was a DJ for
29 years! I told Jim that his radio show was responsible, in part,
for our eclectic tastes. |
| April 12, 2004 |
Savannah's - Albany |
One set at
9:00 PM. Also bands at 10:00 and 11:00, as part of the Savannah's
Hard Rock Albany night - You never know where you'll find us! We
performed one set. Also on tap were SoulCrutch. A nice room
to play. |
| April 10, 2004 |
Lake George
Forum |
Part of the
"Rock The Forum" weekend. The venue was terrific, the
sound was great, and many excellent bands were on
tap. We played about 1 Hr. Thanks to Chris and Heather Fitzgerald
for doing such a great job. And to Samantha Magickinis, for
arranging the function |

Artie's Stage - Troy, NY |
No Fooling! We played for nearly 3
hours - all originals! Thanks to Artie (Art Fredette of the Lawn
Sausages) for having us. The place has a real nice stage, with two
tier's, and an excellent sound in the room. A real nice place to
play, watch or listen. I think we played 29 songs. Jim's
voice wasn't used to the abuse. We got some nice comments, and
added 2 people (one being Penny Lane!) to our e-mail list. I was
told by one person named Mike, that he loved my guitar playing, BUT...,
I should give up singing (ouch)! That's why I don't sing
much! But in my defense, I'd say, compared to Jim, not too many
sound as good. |
| January 30, 2004 |
Valentine's |
The Realation
CD release party for their CD "Sustain". A great bunch
of guys with a nice prog/funk sound. Also on the bill was the Joey
Randazzo band, which has no one named Joey in it, but did an excellent
set of what I would term 'power pop'. |
| January 24, 2004 |
Gorilla Haven |
An invite from our friends in Tripsonic,
saw us play at the former G-Spot. If you see my notes on our June
26 show at the G-Spot, which had been renamed Gorilla Haven to protect
the innocent, you will note that the temp was 105 degrees outside
(110 inside). Well this night, the outside temp was -10 (that's
MINUS 10) for a net difference in outside temp of 115 degrees!!
Not that this means anything. The Gorilla Haven is now defunct as
well! We really put the killer touch on these venues don't
we. That's 4 and counting! |
| December 20, 2003 |
Chief's Saloon |
A Watervliet watering hole. We had a
great time, playing 'at home'. Friends Ed
Vacariello (Budget Tire Ed from the Howard Stern show commercials)
and Marty Maloney provided additional
entertainment during our break. This show ruffled some feathers in
Vliet, which has (had!) a 'No Live Entertainment' ordinance. My
understanding is that a permit can now be obtained for $40. That
is Government in action! |
| October 17, 2003 |
On The Green |
A 6-8 Happy
Hour. The show was great, giving us a chance to stretch out.
The next day the bar closed, and fixtures were being removed when we
picked up our equipment! |
| August 29, 2003 |
Valentine's |
We opened for Oshe and Cerulean City, two
excellent jazzy/jammy bands. Check them out if you get a chance |
| August 2, 2003 |
Organic
Fest - Berlin, NY |
See Organic
Fest - Concert for more info. We opened the
festivities on Saturday, due to rain-outs on Friday night - after all,
the Show Must Go On! |

Northern
Lights
|
The 805 show
on the 19th was a resounding success. We met old friends, made many
new friends (and most importantly fans). See our News
page (7/28/2003) for additional show comments |
| July 12, 2003 |
Crazy Crab - Cohoes, NY |
w/ Idette and the SunRunners - We had a nice crowd, and Idette and the
SunRunner's
burned it up from 10 - 1:30. We played a set from 9 to 10.
If you love Etheridge, Raitt, Crow, Fleetwood Mac, etc. you've got to
see them. There songs are original but they come from that same
wellspring of energy and reality as some of those other artists |
| July 6, 2003 |
On The Green |
Benefit for the Lupus
Foundation. Lamont, a self described poet, who promotes the Sports
Bike activities at On The Green, on Sunday's said that our songs touched
him, and inspired him to write a poem. For performers like Jim and
I, who come straight from the heart, this was worth all of King
Solomon's gold! |
| July 5, 2003 |
Pagliaci's |
10:00 PM after the
Albany Conquest game. On the roof! It was a great night
musically, and we played to hundreds. Regrettably they were
leaving the Conquest game, and not coming up on the deck. We
turned the speakers to the street though and gave them a free show! |
| June 26, 2003 |
The G-Spot |
A Thursday night show -
w/ Tripsonic and K8E
. It was about 105 degrees inside, but the music was hotter. Well,
except when Chad blacked out from the heat.

Thanks Goddess Is Human.
C.K. Young is an excellent guitarist and fun to watch, and when JoJo

sing! |
