singing, though Jim sings it live) post 9/11 Jim & I wrote 5 songs that
are “sort of” related to 9/11. This
is the first of the 5, and though it doesn’t say anything about 9/11 (only
1 does, and that obliquely), this song is about taking advantage of
opportunities while they are there, because tomorrow holds no guarantees.

Grapes Of Wrath). Certainly not as verbose or eloquent though!

Written
after learning to ski (at 46 yrs old!) – I thought the music was
reminiscent of the feeling of stretching ones limits and nearly careening
out of control. The first
minute or so is the anxiousness of the lift ride up, the rest is the ski
down.
